I am a clinical psychologist and neuroscientist from Argentina. Here, I obtained my degree in Psychology and later completed a PhD in Neuroscience at the National University of Córdoba under the supervision of Agustín Ibáñez.

As part of my doctoral training, I spent more than a year at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour in the Netherlands, working in the laboratory of Erno Hermans, where I specialized in neuroimaging methods and affective neuroscience.

After completing my PhD during the COVID-19 pandemic, I moved to Sweden to begin a postdoctoral fellowship in Experimental Psychiatry at Linköping University under the supervision of Rebecca Böhme. In 2025, I was awarded the title of Docent (Associate Professor) in Experimental Psychiatry. I also serve as an invited lecturer at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and as Assistant Professor at the National Technological University.

My research focuses on understanding how the brain constructs bodily and emotional experiences. I am particularly interested in interoception, social and affective touch, self-processing, and brain–body interactions in both healthy individuals and clinical populations. To study these questions, I combine behavioral methods with electroencephalography (EEG) of brain and spinal cord, psychophysiology, functional neuroimaging, and experimental interventions.

Alongside my academic work, I continue to enjoy clinical practice and teaching. I am also passionate about science communication and actively promote neuroscience and psychology in Spanish through Neuro.Fan and in English through public talks, workshops, and outreach activities.
